Review: ANNICK GOUTAL Gelee Splendide Demaquillante Cleansing Gel for Face & Eyes

Introduction of ANNICK GOUTAL Gelee Splendide Demaquillante Cleansing Gel for Face & Eyes:

Skin is perfectly cleansed and revitalized with every swipe of Gelee Splendide Demaquillante Cleansing Gel. Active Rose Serum helps restore skin's elasticity and stimulates cell regeneration for a more supple complexion. Aloe Vera then soothes and hydrates skin leading to a silky soft feel. Soak a cotton ball with the makeup remover and then swipe all over face to purify the skin and remove all traces of makeup.
Use:Apply to the face morning and evening with your fingertips or a cotton swab, using light movements.
200ml/6.7oz

I started to use this cleansing gel about one week ago. The texture is light orange color watery fluid, does not feel like gel at all.

What I love about it:
  1. The amazing rose scent. It just smells like real rose. I'm sick of the artificial rose scent.
  2. Incredibly fresh feeling after wash. I have combination skin, oily at T-zone, normal at cheeks area. I don't feel any dryness after washing.
  3. I love the elegant and sophisticated packaging.
What I don't like about it:
    1. There is no foam. I'm not used to the cleanser without foam except cleansing milk. This is the first cleansing gel, which does not generate foam I ever used by far.
    2. Pricey (USD49)
    Will I purchase again?
Maybe, if I have a chance to get it when it is on sale.

    More introduction about Annick Goutal:

Annick Goutal is an Upscale Perfumery House created in 1981 by one woman with a remarkable destiny. It all began with the moving tale of a young lady rebelling against a seemingly inevitable career as a pianist. After many years studying music, she decided to embrace the opportunity to become a model. Some time later, a chance encounter with a perfumer from the French town of Grasse drastically changed her life. In 1980, Annick Goutal opened a small boutique on Rue de Bellechasse, where she presented her creations to her growing clientele.

In 1999, Annick Goutal passed away at the age of 53, leaving behind her a legacy of more than 25 unparalleled fragrances. Today, her work is continued by her daughter, Camille Goutal, and Isabelle Doyen, the "noses" of the brand, through a series of unique creations (Mandragore, Songes, Un Matin d’Orage, Ninfeo mio...) which immortalize her world and her beliefs: emotion, creativity, authenticity and excellence.

Today, in order to satisfy all types of skin, Annick Goutal has created a complete range of beauty care products for the face and the body using the single principle of the Active Rose Serum. A very powerful and natural elixir full of trace elements (magnesium, calcium, zinc), and concentrated with vitamins (A, E, F, B5 and C), known for their moisturizing benefits and their efficiency in the fight against the aging of the skin. Its anti-bacterial characteristics allow anyone to use these products, even those with the most sensitive skin.
