EOTD: A Touch Of Blue - Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box

I got this Urban Decay Deluxe shadow box one year ago but only used it less than 3 times, simply because it's too colorful.

What I used for EOTD:

Review of Aesop: Primrose Facial Cleansing Masque

My Skin Condition:

A bit sensitive, combination type, and acne-prone skin. 

Oily at T-zone with some blackheads around nose area. 

Cheek area is normal but my skin is very thin and prone to reddish. 

From what I know, when skin temperature increases 1 degree C, our skin sebum level increases 5-10% more and pores get bigger. Typically in Singapore, in such a hot and humid weather all day all year, I feel like my pores never closed. : (

That's why we have use cleansing mask to remove excess skin sebum. I have tried a lot of similar products, some of them were too harsh to me, some did not have enough cleansing effect, until I found this:

Aesop is an Australian brand, it has a range of superlative products for skin, hair and body. 

This is deep-cleansing clay masque for most skin types, the scent is so lovely when I first open it.

Makeup Brushes Review: MakeUpShow (MUS) -- Part 2

I have reviewed some face brushes from MakeUpShow (MUS) in Part 1.

Now I'm going to review the rest from the Black Walnut Series that I have, including some eyeshadow brushes, lip brush and concealer brush.

3 Eyeshadow Brushes & 1 Blending Brush

H05, H06 and H07 are three eyeshadow brushes, they are so cute that even smaller than a pen. All of them are made of sable hair.

Nail nail nail~~OPI B85- over the Taupe

I received some nail polish and nail care stuff yesterday, one OPI nail envy base coat, Seche Vite fast dry nail top, and OPI B85 over the Taupe.

OPI Nail Envy is one of the best base coat in the market, which comes in varieties of different functions. The one I bought is to fortify and harden thin, brittle natural nails. 

Makeup Brushes Review: MakeUpShow (MUS) -- Part 1 Face Brushes

 

I received this set of makeup brushes two weeks ago and It's time to review them now.

They are from MakeUpShow (MUS), a very famous brand from China, made in Shanghai. This brand is so popular in China now and a lot of friends recommended it to me.

They have several series cover from beginner to professionals, like a beautiful red color long handle set for professionals; black color long handle series for normal individuals, the original wood color handle range for beginner, which is cheaper than the rest and also a white color short handle set for traveling, etc.

After doing so much research, finally I got a few brushes from the High Series, which is the high-end brush made of black walnut handle. It comes with a black color travel case, it's perfect to put all my brushes in (I didn't get the whole set, just 11 brushes that I needed).

 

Eyeliner Brush Comparison: MakeUpShow H10, 3E01, Bobbi Brown Ultra Fine Eye Liner

A good eyeliner brush is a essential tool for applying gel type eyeliners, such as MAC Fluidline and Bobbi Brown long-wear gel eyeliners.

I've been using Bobbi Brown Ultra Fine Eyeliner brush for almost 3 years. I got it from Changi airport, which cost me ard SGD35.

Recently, people start talking about MakeUpShow (MUS) brushes. I happened to get some MakeUpShow brushes, including two gel liner brushes.

I'm going to compare the three eyeliner brushes:

  - Bobbi Brown ultra fine eyeliner brush,  

  - MakeUpShow (MUS) H10,                 

  - MakeUpShow (MUS) 3E01.  

The gel liner I'm using today is MAC Fluidline, shade Blacktrack.

The three eye liner brushes are:

Bobbi Brown, handle material: Birch

 MUS H10, handle type: black walnut wood

OPI Nail Polish - DS 008 Chiffon

These photos were taken several months ago...
OPI DS is Designer Series, which contains a lot of glitter colors.


Chiffon is light pink with holographic glitter. The color seems a little dark in bottle, but when applied on nails, it is lighter and more pink.


The texture of this nail polish is very smooth and it is very very easy to apply.

Méditerranée is one of the most beautiful duo eye shadows of NARS.  It is a combination of beige color and very bright screamingly orange with gold shimmer.
